Research

My research is broadly concerned with making connections between feminist cultural production and feminist cultural theory. I’m particularly interested in feminist and feminine self-representation in contemporary art practices. I’m currently working on a project titled The Look of Feminist Self-Portraiture: Visual Self-Representation by Women Artists, which addresses self-imaging practices within feminist cultural production in North America and since the beginning of the second wave.
